An interdisciplinary project team directed by Dr. Barb Hamilton-Hinch, and research project director Nicholas Hickens are looking to hire a Full-Time Project Manager to work for the project team: Mobilizing Partnerships Project Taking Steps Together for Supported Re-Integration Phase II. 

An interdisciplinary project team requires an advisory committee to work with an exciting initiative, the implementation of the project: Mobilizing Partnerships” Taking Steps Together for Supported Re-Integration Phase II. We aim to create a diverse team of community stakeholders that can collaboratively advise on needed mental health supports and resources for people who have been formerly incarcerated, and their families. Specifically, culturally specific mental health supports to help persons of African descent better integrate back into their communities.

An interdisciplinary project team requires a Legal Family and Community Court Outreach Worker Justice System Trauma Support to work with an exciting initiative, the implementation of the project: Mobilizing Partnerships” Taking Steps Together for Supported Re-Integration Phase II. The hired worker will work in collaboration with the African Nova Scotian Justice Institute to conduct trauma and violence mitigation programming along with legal aid and mental health outreach support for African Nova Scotian women navigating the court and social justice systems.
